Michael Vick from the Atlanta Falcons is recently under ivestigation for an illegal dog fighting ring that has taken place at his home in Virginia where his nephew had been living. The house has since been sold after they found 60 pitbulls all of varying health at the location. Apparently he owns a dog breeding company as well.

Apparently the honey bee population is dying and there have been a few theories. One theory is that cell phones have been killing the bees with it's radiation. That doesn't seem to be true but not sure. Then, there are Varroa mites that have actually been discovered in Wales that have been infesting honey bees and really have caused a problem. My theory is that the underground bee-mafia has been hittin' hard lately. You just can't get enough really good nectar these days.

East Lyme, CT has, in the past month, had a long string of vandalism, burglary, breaking and entering, and just tons of mischief causing over $100,000 in damage. Suspects happen to be high-school kids. I thought that the plastic bubble could have other uses, such as keeping these kids out of trouble, or away from it.

Celebrities get too much air time. I guess it's nice to kind of get away from war, murder and other terrible things we hear on the news by listening to what Tom-Kat's wedding was like. Scientists say that the change in the pattern of the Gulf Stream, warmer waters, a northern wind and recent storms are the cause of the sightings of men-of-war in Rhode Island this summer. Apparently they have never made it up this far north. But they seem to be taking over and scaring quite a few people out of the waters and tourist spots.

I really think that you should be retested to get your license at 65 or 70. I mean seriously, why not? It's a test, if you can't pass it, you shouldn't be driving. If you do pass, woo hoo! North Korean king, Kim Jong II, has so far launched 7 missiles "for testing." Many think he just needs a little attention and to let everyone know he is a powerful man. Unfotunately for Kim, he has the Napoleon complex...not very big, in fact very small in stature. I also think that launching these missiles resemble that he has a small penial complex...big missiles make up for what he doesn't have.

Now, this is one that did not turn out the way I had wanted, definitely not my favorite one. When I thought of the concept, I was on my last burner, and it made all the sense in the world to me that if the cord was unplugged, that the person on the treadmill would fly backwards, not true. So when I handed it in to the editor, I cringed when I figured out that it didn't make sense. It ran anyway. Oh well.
